Cyber Suite is an insurance product tailored to address the challenges faced by business’ increased dependence on IT networks, third party IT and business processing providers, as well as the abundance of digital assets and private data they keep. Cover included for:

• Non-physical business interruption and extra expenses

• Cyber extortion and cyber terrorism

• Security and privacy liability

• Privacy regulation defence

• Special expenses such as notification expenses, PR expenses and credit monitoring

• Reputational harm

The representative from Liberty Specialty Markets to CRIF is Matthew Hogg, Underwriting Manager of the Strategic Assets Division.

Matthew has also been elected  chair of the Cyber Risk & Insurance Forum for 2014.

His division underwrites specialist risks in the classes of intellectual property, reputation, cyber, privacy and non-material damage business interruption.

Prior to joining Liberty, Matthew was the EMEA Technology Leader for international insurance broker Marsh and before that an underwriter at Lloyd’s of London where he created a number of niche products in the intangible assets space. He holds a degree in law, a Masters in Law & Economics and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance.

Matthew is also on the Membership Committee of the IAFS, a member of the Information Assurance Advisory Council (IAAC) and also a founding member of the International Underwriters Association (IUA) Cyber Underwriting Committee. 

He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Matthew is also the recently past Chairman of the UK charity BELS (Business & Education for London South).
